Also known as: Casita Taco de Carbon, this is the best burrito spot I’ve found in Burbank, which is not saying a whole lot. Solid burrito, ample salsa bar, decent prices, but nothing really stands out. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. If you’re looking for the best burrito option in Burbank, this is probably it.

Veggie Burrito $4.82 after tax
If you like Baja Fresh, Poquito Mas does something simular, only better. Fresher, better aestetics, and the staff and menu just plain “get it”. If this place wanted to expand nationally, I’d invest. The downside: if you objectively analyze the food, it’s not amazing. The salsa bar looks better than it tastes with heavily gringofied salsas, none of which is remotely spicy or particularly flavorful.

Value: Very Good (one of their mottos high quality and low cost).

Grilled Veggie and Tofu Burrito $7.02 after tax
“B” level regional chain with organic ingredients. They miss the mark with their vegetarian burritos, but achieve beauty with their salsa bar. When I was taking pictures of said bar, one of the employees came over to bask in my appreciation of her well arranged and kept salsa station. 4 salsas and pico de gallo. My favorite is the “fire roasted” salsa.
Value: Not really, and most of their locations are near a better option.
